Treysta Wealth Management approached us to create a corporate animation that would tell their story. The initial idea was to take the viewer on a journey that resonated with both their experiences and the evolution of Treysta. We created a narrative that not only focused on how Treysta has grown and become better at what they do, but also how this can help their clients. We then illustrated and animated the concept in a playful way that resonated with Treysta’s belief of a relationship for life. The result was a video that feels personal, genuine and caring, exactly the qualities that Treysta offer with their wealth management service.
RewardStream wanted a 60 second video to explain how their new software, ‘Spark,’ can harness the power that customers have to increase awareness of a brand. We kept the script short and snappy, focusing on the real business benefits that the software brings. The visuals reflect the organic nature of word of mouth recommendations, showing how they spread and connect people. The result was a video that simply explains how this complex software can transform a business’s customers into a marketing tool.
Emma at e3 Reloaded contacted us with a big project and a tight deadline, so of course we said yes. Our job was to create two videos that explain to recent graduates what working at Standard Chartered is like. The aim was to explore the different areas of banking, to help graduates decide whether Standard Chartered is the right place for them to start their career. We used analogies to illustrate the scripts and help bring to life the varied scenarios that somebody working in the different areas of banking would experience. Two awesome videos ready in just four weeks, here is the Consumer Banking video.

We were approached by the founder of Fitlime, Trevor McGerr, to create a video that would help to launch his new fitness and time management app. From the outset we merged the script with the visual style of the video, focusing on themes of an active and healthy life. The viewer is transported through a 3D environment that shows how the app works, and the use of dynamic typography creates a video bursting with energy.
Legal Tender wanted a video to show that by comparing and hiring law firms using their online interface, businesses can get their legal work done more efficiently. We developed a script that walked the viewer through how the service works, highlighting its core benefits while explaining the features. The minimalist graphics used created a clear and crisp animation and emphasized the transparency of the Legal Tender service.
The team at OpenGamma wanted a video to share their new approach to market risk management. We explored their software to find a way in which we could present it in an imaginative way. Using geometric imagery and simple iconography we created fresh and uncomplicated visuals that tied in perfectly with the company’s ethos. The result was a video that summarised the huge benefits this open source software provides, without confusing the viewer with too much technical information.
NatCen came to us with over 1000 words of data and facts, which we had to distil into a clear and entertaining video for presentation in front of health officials and government ministers. First a narrative was created out of the data, boiling it down to the essentials to get the message across. Then we designed an infographic animation that played out a series of scenarios, to bring the data to life and strike a chord with the audience. We were given 4 weeks to write, design, and animate ‘The Health of the Nation.’ We put the coffee on and delivered on time.
Atlas Mapping approached us to help them showcase their innovative new software, My Franchise Atlas. We developed a script and visual language that directly targeted their customer base and incorporated their revamped brand identity. The video successfully demonstrated how Atlas Mapping’s advanced software has the potential to transform the way franchise managers work, while expressing the character of a mature and forward thinking company.
SheSaidBeauty needed to demonstrate how their new social network connects everything related to beauty into one place. We worked with them to define their message and create a script that would inspire their audience to join their network. Using a stylish colour scheme and an upbeat soundtrack we brought together the different aspects of SheSaidBeauty to produce a sophisticated video that encouraged viewers to get involved.
This is the first video we were tasked with producing for MyEd, an organisation with the ambition to connect the global student community through a platform that puts them in control. The purpose of the video was to spread awareness of their unbiased university and college review system, and encourage past and present students to get involved. We worked closely with the MyEd team to translate their vision into an entertaining and compelling animation to get more people visiting their site.
After our first successful animation for MyEd, we were commissioned to produce two more. For the second video we were asked to explain the many features and real benefits that the revamped MyEd website provides for students around the world. Using the iconic visual language designed specifically for their service, we produced a video that took viewers on a student’s journey through education and how MyEd can help every step of the way.
The third video we produced for MyEd was aimed at the educational institutions and businesses that could benefit from interacting with students through the MyEd website. We used a typographical treatment to create a presentation that revealed the potential MyEd holds for advertisers, along with exactly how their service works. We kept the colour scheme and visual language in correlation to their website, creating a look that fitted perfectly with their brand.
PayNearMe wanted a video that explained to merchants exactly how their service could make it easier for customers to pay them. Our first task was to produce crisp illustrations and a clear script to engage the viewer’s eyes and ears. Then, using a character to walk through the different scenarios in which the PayNearMe service can be used, we created a lively animation that quickly demonstrates the key benefits of their payment system.
TransferWise came to us for help in spreading the word about their innovation and explaining what they had developed. We translated how their system works into simple terms to make sure everyone who watched the video understood that their service could save them money. Using a blend of clear infographics along with a typographical treatment the animation revealed why TransferWise is the smartest choice when it comes to overseas money transfers.

“Daniel and Jack are really awesome. We worked together on two videos for Standard Chartered and produced fantastic animated stories that make sense of a complex industry! They both add so much value to the creative process, are brilliant at bringing an idea to life and are such a joy to work with, especially under tight timeframes! This is definitely the start of a partnership with Motionstory and we look forward to working with them again on our next video challenge!”
Emma Reynolds, Co-founder & CEO at e3 Reloaded
“The guys at Motionstory were a fantastic help from the very beginning of the project, talking us through the whole process of how they make a video. Jack wrote us a brilliant script and Daniel showed us how he would transform the words into a visual story. We let them get to work and the result was just perfect. Now we have a fantastic way to explain to our clients in just 1 minute how ‘Spark’ can help them to improve their business.”
Kristi Grassi, Creative Services Manager at RewardStream
“Motionstory were fantastic to work with. They delivered on time, on budget and went above and beyond the brief in terms of creativity. As animation newbies, we were grateful for Daniel and Jack’s patience in guiding us through the process and in communicating with us every step of the way. The result: a fantastic animation that wowed the crowd at our event, some super-shareable online content and inspiration for all our staff to think about how we explain our research.”
